Happenings

Providence Church assembles at 10:00 each Sunday Morning at the Lincoln Charter School, which is located just off of Business Highway 16 in Denver.

Please come as you are. What you wear matters not to God, so it matters not to us, except that you are modest. Most dress is considered casual.

Our music is biblical and gospel centered, though eclectic stylistically. We sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, some times with a band, some times with no instruments at all.

We offer childcare for children new to 4 each Sunday for parents who wish to utilize those ministries. See our ministries/children page for questions regarding what we offer for 5 and up.

The last Sunday of every month our church enjoys the Lord’s Supper and a fellowship meal following the worship service. If you are a guest, please stay and enjoy yourselves. We ask that members prepare a meal that would feed their family plus one to be shared buffet style with all.

For any other questions not answered on this site, please contact Bobby Wilkinson.

Frequently Asked Questions About Our Church Services

How do we do childcare at Providence?

We want to give parents freedom when it comes to making childcare decisions at church. Parents may decide to keep their children with them for the entire morning service or there are age appropriate classes led by qualified teachers for all ages from birth to 5th grade. Infants can be dropped off before the morning service and all other classes begin after the singing is completed. Above all, we want to let you have the freedom to choose what is right for your family and child.

Why don’t we take an offering or pass a plate for church collection?

At Providence, we want to be known as a church that cares more about your heart than your wallet. We do believe that giving is a spiritual act of worship before God and should be done with a willing and joyful heart. Although we don’t have an official offering time in our church service, we still allow and encourage our members and regular attenders to give to our church financially. There’s a wooden box at the door of the gym where you can place your offerings to Providence. If you are visiting, please don’t feel obliged to give in any way. We are just thankful to have you worship with us.
